Certification Package
In addition to the manuals, AMT Training offers a self-study certification package. This package is a tremendous value for students and seasoned A&Ps looking for their first job or to advance their careers with this aircraft. Having these prerequisite skills before the interview will guarantee that your resume gets on top of the pile.
General Familiarization certification packages are purchased online followed by online training and study options. You will be sent a full Gen Fam manual (ebook) along with login instructions to our online testing and module learning platform (usually within 24-48 hrs).
*If interested in the purchase of just the book it can be found here
The package includes a series of exams for each chapter taken via moodle learning similar to the way colleges and universities conduct online classes. Upon completion of module lessons, you will have a final exam unlocked. Upon successful completion of the final exam, an FAA accredited GenFam certificate is issued for that aircraft. Chapter tests may be taken on your schedule as you feel you are ready for each. There is no time limit between chapter tests or prior to the final exam.
AMT Training General Familiarization certification is accredited by FAA through the FAAST and WINGS programs. 40 AMT Awards hours are also granted to all those completing the final exam. To learn more about this process, go to:

For repair stations and employers, self-study is an economical method to prepare your trainees, considering both the cost of the program and for those who can’t afford to take their AMTs out of the hangar and away from their jobs. Please contact us for corporate training packages that will fit your training desires and needs.
Coming Soon
Students will have the option to take the final exam proctored and be granted college credit for all courses approved. This is very exciting and we look forward to our new partnership with over 1500 colleges and universities.
